Legal documents¶
Practiceful is operated by Intelligena LLC, a California limited liability company, which is the party you contract with. Practiceful is the name of the service. Every legal document is public, linked from the footer of every page on the site, and shows its version, so you can read exactly what you are agreeing to before you create an account.
Read the privacy policy and the terms¶
-
In the site footer, press Privacy. The Privacy Policy opens, under the site's normal header, so you can move around the site from it.
-
Links inside the policy take you to the other documents it mentions. Press the Terms of Service link to open the Terms.
- Press the Practiceful logo in the header to return to the home page.
Read the Business Associate Agreement¶
Practiceful is built for health and wellness practices, so it publishes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for practices that handle protected health information.
- In the footer, press BAA.
-
Read the notice at the top. The page sets out the form of agreement Practiceful offers. It is not in force until it has been signed in writing by both parties, and until then you must not upload, enter or send protected health information through the service.
Using the product does not put a BAA in place. If your practice needs one, contact Practiceful through the Contact page before you store client health information.
See every document¶
-
In the footer, press All policies. The Legal page lists every document with its version and a short summary, and marks the ones you agree to when you create an account.
-
Press Security Practices to read the security controls Practiceful maintains. Its section 12. What we do not claim states that no SOC 2, HITRUST or ISO/IEC 27001 certification has been obtained.
The list also includes the Accessibility Statement and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. The refund terms, and how money moves between you, your clients and Stripe, are summarised in Is Practiceful right for me?.
